I cannot stand shows like Selling Sunset and Owning Manhattan. No shade to everyone who loves them, but there’s not enough real estate and too much (fabricated, often nonsensical) drama. I’ve watched one season of Million Dollar Listing, which is slightly more “nuts and bolts of the job” and found it vaguely interesting, but also deeply bullshit. A handshake agreement between brokers isn’t an accepted offer, which isn’t anywhere close to an in contract or closed sale. Broker parties don’t sell properties; they’re for self promotion.
